Files, formats & new features!

I am pleased to report that Etsy has added instant download to their site.

Previously, anyone buying a pattern from my Etsy store had to wait until I received the notification e-mail and then send them a file with the knitting pattern — and we all know how frustrating it can be to not be able to get going as soon as inspiration strikes on a knitting project!

But no more — now all the pattern files are available for instant download! Immediately after purchase, Etsy will send out an e-mail with the confirmation and a download link. Just click on the link to see the file and then choose where to download it on your computer. This is usually onto your Desktop or to the Downloads folder, but it can be anywhere you will be able to remember later. Super easy!

The patterns are formatted as pdf files so can be printed out or read on your computer, tablet or mobile phone directly. I do like having the pattern on my phone as it is so handy to be able to refer to them when you are out and about, or if you need yarn information when you are at your local yarn store.

This is a great new feature, so thank you to Etsy for adding that to your site. All my patterns include stitch charts and full line-by-line instructions so you can get started on your knitting straight away!

Happy knitting!
